SOLENNE
SOLENNE was founded in New York in 2016 on a simple idea: that the clothes a woman wears every day deserve the same care as the ones she wears once.

The idea
We started with six pieces — a coat, a shirt, a trouser, a knit, a skirt and a bag — made in the best materials we could find and cut to be worn for years. Each season since has grown from those first six, adding new shapes without losing their restraint.

The making
Our ready-to-wear is made in Italy and Portugal by workshops we have worked with since the beginning. Leather goods are cut and stitched by hand in the Veneto; our denim is woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama. We visit every partner every season, and we know the people who make our clothes by name.

The studio
The SOLENNE studio sits above our first boutique on Greene Street. It is where every collection begins — on a rail, in a fitting, on a table covered in swatches — and where our design, atelier and client teams work side by side.

Responsibility
We make fewer things, better. We favour natural fibres, traceable leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group, and recycled packaging. Every leather piece can be repaired at any of our boutiques for as long as you own it.
