    The yarn

A long-staple cotton spun in Italy, mercerised so the stripes stay sharp after washing.

  2. 02

    Knitting

Each panel is knitted flat on machines from the 1980s, which give the slightly irregular texture we like.

  3. 03

    Linking

The panels are joined stitch by stitch, so the stripes match at the side seams and the shoulders.

  4. 04

    Washing

Every sweater is washed and dried flat before leaving the workshop, so it will not shrink at home.
